Fashion Sets is MAC’s newest collection featuring “sets” of matching Lipstick, Lipglass, and Nail Lacquer. The colors were chosen based on how popular these shades of lipstick are in different regions of the world. This set features Please Me, a permanent Lipstick and limited edition Lipglass and Nail Lacquer.
Please Me products are available online and may be at some Macy’s locations. It is part of the Latin America/Middle East group of Fashion Sets. These sell for the usual prices, with Lipstick and Lipglass costing $14.50 and Nail Lacquer selling for $16.00.

Left to Right: Lipstick, Lipglass, Lipstick + Lipglass layered
Please Me Lipstick (Matte): Please Me Lipstick is a “muted rosy-tinted pink”. It’s a medium shade of pink with yellow based, warm undertones so it’s flattering on all skintones. As a Matte finish, it has a thick, creamy texture and has a slight bit of shine to it. Please Me gives opaque coverage with very little product applied and wears well for 5-6 hours. A few nice Lip Pencils that you can use with Please Me are Subculture (nude/neutral), Whirl or Dervish (pinks), or In Anticipation Pro Longwear Lip Pencil, which is nearly a perfect match.
Please Me Lipglass: This Lipglass is a perfect match to Please Me Lipstick. It’s very thick and creamy and will give you nearly complete opaque coverage when worn by itself. On me, it seemed a little uneven at first but once it warmed up on my lips it looked just fine.
Please Me Nail Lacquer (Cream): Please Me Nail Lacquer is a very nice match to the Lipstick and Lipglass. It’s a warm toned medium pink that’s flattering on everyone. It’s creamy and opaque with two heavy coats, although the first coat may appear slightly streaky.
As with all MAC Nail Lacquers, I get close to 4-5 days of wear without much chipping or tip wear. With a topcoat like MAC’s Overlacquer, it will last closer to a week.
This color is so pretty!
