Like the Lipsticks in this collection, there are three Lipglasses each with both the Veronica and Betty sides of Archie’s Girls. The Veronica Lipglasses go perfectly with the Lipsticks, so you can layer them and add some shine if you like. They’re all nicely pigmented and can be worn on their own as well. I’m seriously so impressed with every single product in Archie’s Girls, so pardon me if I can’t stop raving about them!
As with the other Archie’s Girls products, these Lipglasses have special packaging. They come in a white box with the Archie’s Girls logo and feature either Betty or Veronica on the clear tube with a white lid, depending on which half of the collection the Lipglass is from. I think the Lipglass packaging is a little more toned down than the Lipsticks are but it’s still super cute!
MAC Lipglasses typically give me about 4 hours of wear before I need to touch up. They’re a somewhat thick, slightly sticky formula, but the sticky feeling doesn’t last long… After you’ve had it on for a bit and it have a chance to warm up and melt onto your lips the stickiness goes away. If they were too runny, they would not be so pigmented or wear as well, so don’t take the thick, sticky feeling as a negative thing! MAC Lipglasses are my favorite formula out of any type of lipgloss out there! These, like other MAC Lipglass, have a subtle vanilla scent but no taste.
These Lipglasses are limited edition with the Archie’s Girls collection and are available now at any MAC store, counter, or online at www.maccosmetics.com. Surprisingly, they’re still in stock online, so if you can’t get them locally, check the website! Like other MAC Lipglasses, these contain 4.8 g / 0.17 US oz of product. However, these cost a little more, due to the special packaging, so they sell for $16.50 rather than the usual $15.
Feelin’ So Good: Feelin’ So Good is a “deep blackened plum” with a creamy finish and a hint of shimmer. It’s a dark brownish plum, but looks more plummy the more pigment your lips naturally have and contains soft shimmer particles that reflect tones of copper and gold. The color payoff was good… It’s certainly lighter on the lips than in the tube but most lipglosses are like that because they thin out once applied. It was not super opaque but it gave decent coverage and lasted about 4 hours before fading or feathering. My only real complaint with this Lipglass is that it settled into the lined on my lips… That’s easily avoided if you wear MAC Prep + Prime Lip underneath! Feelin’ So Good looks perfect when worn over Boyfriend Stealer Lipstick, which is one of the Veronica Lipsticks from this collection.

Mall Madness: This is a “midtone pink violet” Lipglass with multi-dimensional shimmer. The overall color is a medium, slightly cool toned plummy pink and the shimmer particles seem to be golden, pink, and magenta. It has good coverage and color payoff for a gloss and gave me a little less than 4 hours of wear before fading. It didn’t settle into the lined on my lips at all and I had no issues with any feathering, even without a liner. Mall Madness is the perfect gloss to layer over Daddy’s Little Girl Lipstick, also from the Veronica part of this collection.

Strawberry Malt: Strawberry Malt is a “bright red” with a creamy finish. It’s a bright, slightly cool toned red with pink undertones. it reminds me of a juicy fruit punch kind of color. Strawberry Malt was almost opaque but not quite… The color payoff was wonderful and it barely settled into the lined in my lips with no primer underneath. I got about 4 hours of wear with this with no feathering at all! If you want to layer this over a Lipstick, I suggest pairing it up with Ronnie Red, which is also part of the Veronica half of the Archie’s Girls collection.
