First off, I’d like to address some not so friendly comments and accusations that I received on my blog this morning and state the fact that I had planned on reviewing both Good Genes and Luna Oil from Sunday Riley LONG before there was any news of controversy. Please do not assume that I posted a review yesterday thinking I would get blog reads because there was drama going on. I would never do that, I don’t pay much attention to any beauty community or brand drama, and I am always 100% honest with you all! My reviews are my own thoughts and ideas, I do not receive any type of PR or compensation for my posts, and I pay for everything out of pocket.
Secondly, I took down those two reviews until I can figure out what exactly is going on with Sunday Riley. I saw on Twitter this morning (via Samantha Ravndahl) that Sunday Riley’s employees were instructed to post fake reviews on Sephora’s website, stating that Sunday Riley products cured their acne. There are screenshots, which I’m not posting on here because I do not want this blog to turn into a drama or gossip fest, but until I can look into those claims further and clear things up, I will no longer be supporting Sunday Riley. I love the products and they actually DID resolve a lot of issues with my skin, but I cannot be supportive of a brand who straight up lies to people and makes false claims.
I hope you all will understand, and I hope you all understand that I will never be anything but real with you guys!
A new post will go up later today or tomorrow, and I will try my best to post extra reviews this week to make up for the fact that I had to delete the past two reviews.
As always, thank you for reading!
