Swatchmas Day 15: My Favorite MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinishes

On the fifteenth day of Swatchmas, I give you my favorite Extra Dimension Skinfinishes from MAC Cosmetics! These are great highlighters if you want something that can range from a soft, subtle glow up to a much more blinding highlight. A dry application with a fluffy brush will give you less pigmentation and glow, while a damp application will give you more more payoff and make you practically visible from outer space!

You can purchase these from your local MAC counter or freestanding store, or online at www.maccosmetics.com or www.ulta.com. Each Extra Dimension Skinfinish sells for $34 and contains 9 g / 0.31 oz of product. I believe I’m lacking two or three shades, but the six in this post are permanent now, so they’ll be available for quite some time.

If you want to know what I’m posting, testing, and loving, be sure to follow me on Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat. You can find me @ lesley_makeup on all three platforms and I love hearing from you guys! If there are any products you want to see featured during Swatchmas (we’ve got 9 more days), or see reviews for any particular products soon, hit me up on social media and let me know or leave me a comment!

The six Extra Dimension Skinfinishes featured in this post are:

  • Soft Frost:   White that breaks violet (aka has a violet shift)
  • Show Gold:   Peach that breaks pink
  • Doublegleam:   Beige that breaks silver
  • Beaming Blush:   Pink that breaks gold
  • Oh, Darling!:   Metallic gold
  • Whisper of Gilt:   Light soft white with shimmery sheen (to me, it’s a light, pearly gold)
